Walt Disney World Epcot Food and Wine Festival

I've lived in Orlando for about 6 years now and I'd only made it to 1 of the theme parks - Magic Kingdom, so I attended the Epcot Food and Wine Festival for my 26th birthday.

What is Epcot? One of Disney Worlds Theme Parks where you can explore global culture, space, the seas and Mother Nature. Epcot has multiple attractions: galleries, rides, characters and entertainment, amazing food, restaurants, special events, and more. It’s Disney so of course it's incredible.

Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival is WORLD Famous. I experienced the culture and cuisines of 11 different nations: Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Norway and the United Kingdom (the United States too) without having to cross any oceans.

I had such a great time! I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was truly amazing. I was in awe. The buildings and landscape made me feel like I'd actually travelled the World in one day. I walked for hours, relaxed in the peaceful Koi garden of Japan, had beer in Germany and wine from France, all before ending the night with tacos and a boat ride in Mexico.

Epcot had A LOT of people, long lines, expensive foods and it was HOT! But overall I enjoyed my experience and I'm definitely planning on going back to the Food and Wine Festival with my parents.

TIP

Tickets are not cheap, but I'm not complaining because I got discounted tickets for being a UCF student. Remember, it does cost quite a bit of money for food and drinks, so be prepared to spend while you're there too.
